Eco Truss Africa Is a manufacturer of lightweight steel roof trusses and floor joists. We produce truss solutions for residential, light industrial and industrial applications. The company was founded in 2011. Our offices are located in Silvertondale, Pretoria, South Africa.

Eco Truss Africa strives to provide environmentally friendly and cost effective roofing solutions to our clients by utilising recognised design software and is compliant to industry standards “sabs sans 517”.

We design, manufacture and deliver our trusses and floor joists as complete units or in a “kit form” to make it cost effective. we manufacture 38mm and 50mm purlins, as well as 20mm ceiling battens.

We design, manufacture and deliver on time. Eco Truss Africa provides a cost effective delivery
solution: trusses are delivered as complete truss units or to reduce transportation costs, truss
members are delivered in "kit form". Erection of Eco Truss roof trusses reduces labour costs.

ECO TRUSS PRODUCTION

The Eco Truss System is extremely versatile; we use cold-formed steel, a single-profile roof truss
system that is ideal for both residential and commercial construction projects.
The Eco Truss System integrates all the components necessary to provide high quality trusses,
directly from slit coil to a finished truss ready for installation. With state-of-the-art engineering, design
layout and manufacturing software, Eco Truss uses an automated fabrication process that eliminates
jigging, measuring, cutting, layout or stock length inventory to ensure construction of only the highest
quality trusses.

Truss fabrication is less complicated; it can be manufactured on a job site without sacrificing quality
or structural performance. It also integrates easily with any building methods such as cast-in-place or
pre-cast concrete, masonry and structural steel framing.
 The Eco-Truss Africa Lightweight Steel system has a clear roof span capacity of up to 36m.
 Engineered to carry concrete tiles or sheeting.
 Components are manufactured from Zincal or Galvanised steel.
 The Truss Engineering Software performs 146 stress tests on each truss.
 Trusses manufactured to SABS SANS517 specifications.
